Video Poker 247
- Horseshoe Hammond Opening Soon
The newest kid on the block doesn’t plan on being the lamest one that
is for sure. When Horseshoe Hammond opens this summer, they are going
to have all the latest and most up to date technologies, as well as
video poker games, slots and all of the bells and whistles they can
muster.
Rick Mazer is their SVP and GM and has been swamped with all of the
details that are needed to be taken care of before the casino opens
this summer in Hammond, Indiana. The complex is costing $485 million
to be completed, and nothing can go wrong.
Meanwhile, Penny Parayo is VP of slot operations, and is busy making
sure that they will be able to offer the best and brightest around, as
well as planning where everything will be located in the new facility.
She says that she wants there to be the latest offerings all the time
– that she will constantly be on the lookout for those items that are
worth just that much more to their clients.
With that goal in mind, she says that they will be one of the first to
be able to offer the new Bally Game Maker video poker. The new
platform will let them compete with IGT’s Game King video poker
machines. They are going to have a whole video poker zone that they
offer – with giant screens and the choice of up to 11 game formats.
