- Video Poker Pay Outs
Video poker pay outs are clearly listed on every game that you play,
yet some people still have issues on how the games work. Some people
think that if you play smaller amounts and thus will win smaller pay
outs, then the pay back is higher. But if you are playing larger
amounts, and could conceivably win larger jackpots, then the pay out
is going to be smaller.
However, the fact remains that no matter what denomination of video
poker you are playing, the randomness of the win is exactly the same.
It doesn’t matter whether you are playing quarters or dollars, the RNG
ensures that every push of the button is exactly the same.
Now, if you bet higher amounts then you are going to win bigger
jackpots, but the chances of winning them are the same as if you were
playing for a smaller jackpot with a smaller coin. If you check the
front of each video poker machine, you will see a table that tells you
what the pay outs are for that particular machine, but other than that
– there is no difference between that game and the one sitting next to
it.
Experts say that with video poker you have a better chance of knowing
what the odds are as they play with a 52 card deck. You can calculate
your chances based on the cards and the pay tables, but your chances
of hitting are no different if you play a quarter or five dollars.
