Video Poker 247
- Commerce Bringing in Video Poker
The Commerce Casino is pleased to announce the addition of video poker
to their lineup of games for their patrons. They will be bringing in a
video poker game called “Sit-n-Go” which will be played on the
electronic poker tables. The video poker games were installed in July
in their poker room, and there are only two video poker games at
first, but depending on how they are received that can be changed
later on.
The video poker tables are called Lightning Poker Tables, and they are
set to offer Texas Hold’em and will also be able to be used for live
action $2-$4 and $3-$6 Limit Hold’em games, as well as $40 No-Limit
Hold’em play. The no limit video poker games will have $40 and $80 buy
in options. Patrons need only go to the cashier to get a card that can
be used in the machines.
The tables seat ten, but can run with less than that because it is
video poker. In the middle of the table there is a monitor that shows
the best and displays the community cards so that everyone can see
them clearly. The video poker players have touch screens that allow
them to place bets and review their hands.
The casino says that the only difference between these video poker
games and the ones online is that people can interact with each other
in person, as well as being able to look to see the person they are
playing with in order to find their “tell” or the thing that gives
them away that they are bluffing.
So far everyone who has played the games say that not only are they
realistic, with the sounds of cards shuffling and chips clacking, but
that it is a nice change from the regular world of poker.
