Video Poker 247
- Normandie Casino Offers Video Poker
The Normandie Casino in Gardena is pulling them in with video poker
machines these days. The club thought that it might be a good idea to
try and work with the younger players and see if they could pull in
that internet crowd – and by doing so they added video poker machines.
Customers of the casino say that they prefer the video poker machines
to the live dealers for several reasons. They like that they don’t
have to tip the dealers, they like that the game moves faster, and
they like that they don’t have to wait for the cards to be shuffled by
the dealer. The video poker players say that the game has a much
faster beat to it, and they like that.
The Normandie is not alone in adding the video poker tables; the
Hustler Casino is doing the very same thing. They think that by adding
the video poker machines that they will be much more able to compete
with the competition that is coming from outside the state and the
tribal casinos as well. The two card clubs are adding the video poker
machines, as well as automated card shuffling machines, plasma flat
screen TVs, etc.
The way the card clubs work, they are a place that people can come
play cards with each other with the club getting a portion of the hand
at each of their tables. They cannot by law offer slot machines but
they can offer video poker machines. They believe that not only will
this bring in more revenue, but it will also enable them to compete
with the larger venues – and bring in a younger clientele.
