Video Poker 247 - Video Poker Gambling

Video poker has become more and more popular over the years, but it is truly hitting its stride right now. Every time you turn around, someone else is playing video poker – and a lot of it has to do with the kind of person you are. Many people who play video poker like slot machines as well, and since it is much like that only with skill, many will give it a try.

Now the Normandie Casino in Gardena has decided to join the fray and has added video poker to their casino as well. Some like video poker because you don’t have to tip the dealer, others like it because the game moves a lot faster than in real life. For example, the video poker hands move faster and you don’t have to wait for the shuffling of cards.

South Bay’s two card clubs, the Normandie and Hustler Casino have both said that bringing video poker into the casino was the smartest thing they could have done. They say that by adding video poker, not only do they make their clients happy – but they can compete with the tribal casinos who are trying to take their gambling personnel.

The Hustler casino has 89 video poker tables, Normandie has 53 video poker tables. It being a card club, the casino gets a portion of the money played at the video poker table itself. They cannot offer slot machines by law, so video poker tables are the way to go. With the tribes having a monopoly on slot machines in California, some say that they are probably going to start seeing much more of the video poker machines to add to the competition.

Now they say that with the tribes doubling the number of slot machines that they are allowed, they may need to add to the number of video poker machines that they offer as well. They think that by adding the video poker machines not only will they bring in more revenue, but they will also bring in a new brand of client – a younger grouping – that they previously have not had.
