Video Poker 247
- Video Poker Sites Don’t Mess Around
With the enactment of the UIGEA, the online gambling community has
been under investigation from the U.S. Government, with every little
thing they do being nitpicked as officials try to find something wrong
so that they will have an excuse to close down an online site. Some
video poker sites are really starting to crack down on their rules and
regulations, and those that are not on the up and up should beware.
One video poker site, Poker Stars, has just banned one major video
poker player “Neverwin” Woolf from their site, and frozen other
accounts on their site that have any kind of link to the player. The
player is accused of using more than one video poker account, and thus
has been banned from the site.
They also closed the account of YourTimeIsUp, for account sharing. The
video poker sites do not allow people to share accounts, so in doing
so they were violating the rules of the video poker site. The account
being closed was interesting, considering that the player was coached
by JJProdigy who was known for multi-accounting at the site. The video
poker site had banned him as well upon discovery.
Woolf was told his account was being permanently closed, and therefore
he needed to spend his FPPs within seven days. Other players are
complaining of their accounts being frozen as well because Woolf used
them. Multiple accounts on video poker or even other sites are not
allowed because people would use them to enter tournaments as several
different players essentially having them play against themselves and
thus guaranteeing the win.
