Video Poker 247
- New Brunswick Video Poker Raid
Police raided an illegal bar in New Brunswick over the weekend and in
it they found many things including video poker machines. The bar did
not have a license to be operating, and yet was, illegally. When
police were tipped off to the bar, they decided to investigate.
They first made sure that the bar did not have a liquor license and
that perhaps it just wasn’t displayed. This turned out not to be the
case, and in fact, the bar was operating illegally.
The owner was arrested by police for running the illegal bar and video
poker machines. The bar was searched by thirteen police officers who
found the bar to be running illegally and they also found the video
poker machines.
The bar was called Blue Eyes Camp and was located in the Ford Road
area near Tracadie-Sheila. It was raided on Friday – right before the
holiday weekend. The owner is a 58 year old man, and was arrested.
He faces charges for running the bar without a license, for operating
illegal video poker machines, and for owning a firearm. When police
searched the bar they found cash, alcohol, video poker machines, and
an improperly stored firearm. He will appear in court in March of next
year.
