- Video Poker Establishment Robbery
According to police, an unnamed man in his 20’s robbed Maddy’s
Saturday morning and they are looking for help in apprehending him.
They say that after playing video poker he robbed the store and they
are asking that anyone with any information regarding the robbery
contact the Tigard Police.
They say that they man, who stands roughly 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and
weighing roughly 165 pounds entered the deli/video poker place shortly
after 7 am on Saturday morning. The suspect first asked for some
change from the counter to play the video poker machines. After
playing the video poker machine he left the store.
However, he soon came back and went to the counter again, only this
time he attempted to purchase a pack of cigarettes from the clerk. It
was then that he demanded money from the clerk, who gave it to him. It
is not known how much money the clerk gave the suspect.
The clerk told Tigard Police detectives that he saw a bulge in the
man’s jacket and believed it was a gun, so he handed him what money he
had. The man was wearing a gray sweatshirt and a black cap during the
time of the robbery. After receiving the money he left the store.
Police are asking that if anyone has any information that could lead
to the arrest of the suspect that they please contact them at
