Video Poker 247
- Is Keno Better Than Video Poker?
There is a new sheriff in town and his name is video poker. Keno used
to be the big man on campus, but lately video poker has taken over the
popularity of the game that residents used to love to play.
Restaurant owners in Southeast Ohio have found that the interest in
keno has waned and given way to a new interest in video poker. They
are surprised by it as they find keno the better game if you actually
want to win some money. The North End Tavern is one of those places
that you find losing money on the video poker games.
They say that not only could their clients win more money on keno
because the odds were better, but they would also play it more often.
Now, players don’t have the best odds yet they keep playing video
poker instead.
With more and more video poker parlors opening, however, the focus has
shifted and Keno is just not as popular as it once was. Some people
are afraid that video poker is just too large of a leap for residents
and that the expansion of gambling will simply end up being a losing
proposition for them.
Even though those supportive of gambling are pushing the video poker
machines, there are those in the legislature that are hesitant about
it. They say that before they make up their minds they want to hear
both sides of the story.
