Video Poker 247
- Prince Edward Island’s Video Poker Testing
The Atlantic Lottery Corporation has decided to test their video poker
tables on Prince Edward Island. The company thinks that PEI would be
the perfect place to test the popularity of the new multi-player
games, to see if they should move forward on an expansion.
The video poker games have already been installed in Quebec casinos in
January, and those that have tried them seem to like them. They are
just like regular poker games, only there isn’t a dealer, and the
cards and chips are virtual.
You simply look at the screen to make your choices and to see your
cards. The pot and the shared cards are on there as well. The video
poker machines are equipped with touch screens which makes it much
simpler for their players.
This also enables them to interact with each other as they are playing
the video poker games, if they choose to do so. The corporation has
decided that they are going to put two of the video poker tables in
different bars on the island to see how they are received. They have
put out a request to see if anyone is interested in hosting the video
poker games, and once they have their replies they will decide where
to put it.
They will be checking to see if people like the video poker tables,
how popular they are, how easy they are to use, and how easily one can
become addicted to them.
