Video Poker 247 - Are We Having Fun Yet?

If you are going to gamble, don’t you think that you should enjoy it? If you sit down at the video poker machine and you decide to play and lose your money (possibly win some) shouldn’t you at least like what you are doing? You would think so, but there are a lot of people out there who don’t enjoy it, but they keep coming back for more.

For starters, you should be looking at video poker or any gambling as enjoyment, not a job or something you have to do. Video poker and slot machines are something that companies spend a lot of time on, trying to get people to enjoy them. They test them and they see how people respond to them, over and over. However, still some people don’t enjoy them because they aren’t looking at them the right way.

Gambling is something that should be enjoyed; something you do to relax and wile away the time. See it as a source of entertainment, not angst. Go with a specific amount of money in your pocket so that you can spend what you can afford. If you go with $50 in your pocket and no ATM or credit cards with you, you will leave there with more or less than what you walked in with, but at least you won’t be kicking yourself for spending more.

When you are there, maybe try something different. You don’t always have to play the same game. Perhaps there is a video poker game that you really like and you play it all the time. Try a different video poker game; or maybe don’t play video poker at all. Try different things and then you will know what you like and may discover something new.
