Video Poker 247 - Video Poker is Just as Random as Ever

Many people have some ideas as to how video poker works within the gambling realm. Some think that the video poker machines are easier than the table games, some think they pay better, etc. However, one thing is for sure, and that is across the board video poker machines are very similar in how they pay and how much.

Video poker is just as random as a slot machine really. Some people think that if you are playing a higher denomination that the video poker machine does not pay out as well as when you play the lower amounts.

This is not true – it might seem that way – but it is not true. The randomness of video poker is consistent across all amounts of money. Whether you choose to play a higher denomination video poker game or a lower one, your chances of winning are the same.

The only difference is the amount of payout. If you are betting higher amounts on your video poker game than you will be eligible for a higher payout from the machine. The operators choose ahead of time what the payouts on the video poker machines will be and that is applied across all of the video poker games.
