It is always amazing to see people playing the video poker machines. Many times they are playing an 8/5 machine while a 9/6 video poker machine sits right next to them empty. When you walk into any casino, you have to look at the games before you play them. Whether it is video poker, slot machines, etc. each game will have a different payout on it, and you have to be observant to see which one you want to be playing.

When you go to the video poker machine, look at the front of it carefully and you will see the payout rate on the game. You obviously want one that pays out better than one that doesn’t. It doesn’t matter if it is a joker or wild card video poker game, check the payout.

You could find that you have been playing a lower payout video poker game instead of a higher one. You always have to check the payout tables before you play any game. Some experts say it is because people might know how to play the game on the machine, but don’t necessarily know how to play the machine.
