Video Poker 247
- Are Payoffs the Same?
The new Seminole Hard Rock Casino is not wanting for patrons –
everywhere you look there are people playing the video poker machines,
or the slot machines, etc. and every day brings in more customers.
Some of those playing the games are people who have been coming there
since before they had slot machines, but some are new – either way,
they are coming.
But now some want to know how the payoffs are working as they don’t
feel that they slot machines are paying as well as the bingo machines
did. They say that when they used to play they used to make more off
of the machines, but now they say that they just aren’t as loose as
they were.
Casino officials say that they are meeting and exceeding the
requirements of the law. According to Florida state law they must pay
at least 85 cents on the dollar back to their patrons. The casino says
that they are paying back approximately 95 cents on the dollar – which
is better than required.
Either way, the number and type of games is enough to keep people
coming back. They have a ton of games that will give people the option
of video poker, slots, keno or blackjack, depending on what they want
to play.
By June 1st half of their offerings will be slot machines, and they
will have dozens of video poker screens in their bar tops – and as far
as the casino goes this is just the beginning.
