Video Poker 247
- Kenner Limo Co. Owner Arrested on Video Poker Charges
Frederick Walters, 46, owner of A Regal Limousine Service, has been
arrested for allegedly skimming video poker proceeds. The arrest took
place Tuesday by Louisiana State Police Gaming Enforcement Division,
and video poker seems to be only one of his problems.
According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office’s arrest report,
Walters was booked with gambling, skimming video poker proceeds, drug
possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug
paraphernalia.
Walters is being held at the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in
Gretna on a fugitive warrant out of St. Landry Parish for gambling as
well.
The arrest report stated that Walters was allegedly found with a
substance resembling marijuana at his business, and possessed parlay
cards. The cards are used to bet on football.
Walters’ attorney, Frank DeSalvo, has not commented on the case so it
is expected that he will plead not guilty. If found guilty, Walters
could be looking at some serious jail time in addition to large fines
and fees.
