- St. Louis Offers Video Poker and Slots
When people think of St. Louis many times they say that steamboats
come to mind. Some think of the Anheuser-Bush plant, and still others
want to talk about the Cardinals or the Rams. Some say that it is the
arch that they first think of, while others claim it is the music
scene that drags them to it. No matter what they say, most don’t
mention video poker.
Yet, St. Louis is also known for its slots and video poker machines,
as well as having some of the best poker rooms around. There is the
Ameristar, Harrah’s, and The President. All offer slots, video poker,
and poker rooms, as well as a plethora of other games. There is pai
gow, roulette, blackjack, craps, etc. all to join the video poker
club.
Looking at the Ameristar you would swear that you were in Atlantic
City as it is a large destination type casino. It is also a boat, and
does not have a hotel, but it will before the end of the year. But
there are plenty of places to stay in St. Louis if you want to spend
the night, and then get up and play some more video poker the next
day.
Dealers do not currently get to keep their tips so if you decide to
tip know that they don’t. However, that law is about to change, so
this will change for them and you will be able to tip them directly if
you so choose to do so. Missouri has some weirdo laws as it pertains
to betting and losing, much of it has to do with attempts to protect
the players, so know that you will be limited in losses and bets here.
