Video Poker 247
- Video Poker Casinos
Video poker has its niche several places in the world, but one of the
toughest markets for video poker is Chicago. The windy city has gotten
significantly harder when it comes to video poker over the past couple
of years, and is probably only going to get harder as the years go on.
You used to be able to play the $0.25 video poker games and get a pay
back of 99%, sometimes better. You could go to the video poker games
at Majestic Star, Trump, Empress, Resorts, or Blue Chip – and each of
those places would give you great payback on their video poker games.
However, this is no longer the case. Now, there are still the quarter
video poker machines, but only an expert will be able to crack 97% on
the machines. Instead, most are relegated to getting somewhere below
that amount, with only a lucky few getting around 98%.
The cutbacks in video poker paybacks have affected all of the casinos,
so if you are still interested in playing but want better odds, you
would be better to hop over the line to New Buffalo, Michigan, where
the Four Winds casino offers 99.1% and 99.0%, even up to 99.5% on
their video poker machines. There may not be as many of the machines
around, but if you are into video poker this is your best bet.
If you are bound and determined to play video poker in the Chicago
area, then you have some options. If you are a dollar video poker
person, then you want to hit New Buffalo or Casino Rock Island where
they have some pretty decent odds on quarter full pay 10-7-4 Double
Bonus Poker. They also have a pretty great player rewards program that
will help with the sting of the video poker odds being what they are.
