Video Poker 247
- New Video Poker Game Leads to Questions
Multi-play poker is the quickly becoming one of the hottest ways to
play video poker to hit the casinos, and many people do not understand
how it actually works. It started out in the late ‘90’s only to be
pulled by WMS Gaming due to issues with the game. However, it has
recently re-emerged much to the excitement and delight of those
familiar with the video poker game.
Now you can find it with Multi-Pay Deuces, Double Bonus, etc. as well
as a slew of original video poker games. The fact of the game is that
you get paid on every type of winning hand that you may have in your
possession at the time. You might see only one combination, but the
video poker game will see all possible winning hands and pay on each
of them.
This is confusing to some as they look at the pay table, and their
hand might pay out ten coins, but there might be other possibilities
going on there. So although it seems as though the video poker machine
is paying out too much, in reality it isn’t. For example, you have
three Kings – so you get paid out for three of a kind, as well as one
for one on a high pair.
However, one thing to keep in mind is that even though it seems as
though it would be a sure bet to a video poker player, Multi-pay video
poker takes away some of those hands that would fall further down at
the bottom of the pay table. So a single Jack won’t pay, nor will a
pair. You must have higher cards to win at this video poker.
