Video Poker 247
- Professor Creates Video Poker Game
Professor Sean Gleeson has created a revolutionary video poker game
that goes by the name of Dashabooja. The new video poker game offers
five card draw, but is accessible to those that don’t necessarily
consider themselves video poker players. The video poker game has
already been sold to BigFishGames.com.
Gleeson is an adjunct for Graphic Communications and is an art
professor. He took the idea of five card video poker and created a
slightly different version of the game.
The video poker game plays that the player places their bet, then gets
10 hands of five cards. They get points depending on what cards they
get as compared to what was bet. When you get the points, you then
have the option of taking the points or picking the higher out of two
cards to double them.
The game is now free to play online courtesy of BigFishGames, and has
been accessible since August 25th. Gleeson says that this is not the
first video poker or even casino game that he has created. He made one
for Stephen Spielberg based on the TNT show “Into the West.” He has
also created games for other sites. He used Micromedia Flash 8 to
create the game.
He says eventually if they can start to get enough buzz on the video
slot they are going to try and sell it to someone like International
Game Technology and get the video poker game into every casino in the
world. He thinks he has a pretty good shot at succeeding at it.
